I Hump, Therefore, I Am

What can I say? It's just human, er, doggy nature. But alas, I was caught on tape like Paris and Kim. Maybe this will make me super famous!

I Am Crazy Mad After A Bath

It's no surprise that I really don't enjoy baths. Show me a dog who really does? Okay, labs don't count! I do highly recommend a dog shampoo - Sentry Flea & Tick Shampoo as it has a great Hawaiian Ginger scent that smells clean and fresh, but not too girlie. So after a bath, and I mean after I stop shaking from the cold and am halfway dry, the craziest thing comes over me and I become mental. I want to visit every nook and cranny of the sofa, attack the blanket and have a full on spaz attack. . See me in action!

A Little Plug From The Store - Canine Styles

Well, can you blame me? I mean, this blog is here for me to toot my own horn. So without further adieu, check out who's in the top row, ahem, top left of the "Happy Clients" section on the Canine Styles page. I just couldn't help myself, or rather, Lorna couldn't help herself!

I Got A New Carrier!

I was told (repeatedly!) that this was a solid investment and I can no longer act like Houdini and escape from my old bag. So, check out my latest mode of transportation - a sleek black bag made by Canine Styles. This bag is so cool that I can even hitch a ride on an airplane, which Lorna is really excited about. Here I am doing what I do best - investigating and chewing.

My First Photo Shoot

Ya know, living in LA has so many perks. I've barely been alive and just did my first campaign for Bebe. Rumor has it I am going to be on their next mailer which comes out before Thanksgiving. And more rumor has it that I just might make the cover. Here's a behind-the-scenes pic of me with the super hot model, Cintia Decker. Did you notice that we have the same hair color?

Here's a pic of me with the super talented photographer Miranda Penn Turin. It's kind of hard to see where I stop and where she begins. (Do you like my alien eyes?) wo peas in a pod!

And that's a wrap...whew! I was exhausted.

Puppy Preschool!

Today was my third week at Puppy Preschool at Zoom Room in Hollywood. I absolutely LOVE this class and the instructor Laura London is amazing. I'm learning to come to my name, sit and well, I'm supposed to lay down but that's not going to happen anytime soon.

I must admit that my most favorite time of class is playtime! Today I played with Tres, a schnauzer puppy and Marco, a newbie, tiny Shih Tzu. He's even smaller than me so I definitely wasn't afraid of him.

And I know you're really interested in seeing me in action so here you go.

Running In My Sleep

Oh yes, I dream of running in a huge field of flowers. Here I am in action and I didn't even know it.

My First Bath

There's not much to say. I guess it's the bad part of the day after a fun day at the beach because I'm usually covered in sand. It's worth it, though, as I'm super clean and smell so good which makes me even more popular than Lorna.

Dog Beach in Malibu

I'm totally a Cali boy so I have now visited the Leo Carillo State Park twice, which has 1.5 miles of beach area. It's a little bit of a trek as it's twenty eight miles northwest of Santa Monica. Apparently it's a super famous location where TV shows and films have been shot such as "Gidget", "The Karate Kid", "The Craft", "Inception" and "Grease".

I'm allowed there but I guess not between towers 2 and 3. I can be on a leash so it's perfect and there are tons of other happy dogs, just chilling and running. And if you don't believe me, check out some of my beach pics.

Ok, I know I'm tiny but I didn't realize that my new ride was going to be a hat!

Here's a little perspective - check me out with this French dude.

Aw, living the dream with Lorna...!

And this is my iconic beach shot taken by the uber talented photographer Olaf Hauschulz. Or as I like to call him, Uncle Olaf!

Welcome! Sit! Stay!

Hi! This is my brand new blog because, well, I'm brand new. Allow me to introduce myself to you - I am Freddy the Dog. That is not my full name and only partially my real name but I am a two-and-a-half month redhead Toy Poodle. But hence, that is who I am. I was adopted three weeks ago by the best owner in the entire world. And of course, she has her own blog, too. She is totally competitive, sheesh! Click here! Her name is Lorna, but I digress.

Back to me...! So, this was a pic of me on the first night I was brought home. I was born in Orange County to the best parents ever and well, hehe, I was actually a surprise! How could you not fall in love with me, though?

Lorna obviously didn't know a clue as to what to do with me so I helped her along. I decided to not ever let her sleep through the night, because if I can't, why should she? I was however, fortunate enough to have the best previous parents who pretty much housetrain me so when it hits me, I just run to the door. I know, I'm nearly tragically perfect at two-and-a-half months.

So keep reading about my adventures and where I am in the world. It's a fun ride and all about the journey. And the treats and the attention!
